Dates & Deadlines: Publication Details You Should Know
The Alternative Journal of Nursing currently advertises in two professional newsletters: Beginnings of the American Holistic Nurses Association, and Perspectives, a shared newsletter between the Associations of Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology.
In addition, information about the journal appears on the web sites of the Association of Humanistic Psychology, the Association of Transpersonal Psychology, the American Holistic Nurses Association, and multiple individual professional sites as well as health care directories on the Internet.
- Publication Dates: We publish on-line the 1st day of the months of March,
July, and November. - Deadlines for articles should be submitted by the 1st of the month prior to publication (February 1st, June 1st and October 1st).
How to Submit an Ad
There are four places on the ALTJN web site that you can advertise. You can create your own ad per the specifications below or custom-designed ads are also available from KLH Technology Solutions for an additional fee.
- Products/Services
Please submit a web-ready image (GIF or JPEG) no larger than 550 pixels wide by 500 pixels tall (or send a word doc, we'll make a screen capture and resize your image to the space requirements). The cost is $150 per issue. Click here to see what other advertisers have done for this area. - Events
Please submit a word doc which will either be auto-converted into HTML or converted to a PDF and linked in. The price for this is $50 for the first word page and $10/page for word pages for each page after. The price includes running the ad until the date of the event. Please submit a web-ready image (GIF or JPEG) no larger than 550 pixels wide by 500 pixels tall (or send a word doc, we'll make a screen capture and resize your image to the space requirements). The price for this is $150 per issue. Click here to see what others have done. - Grand Side Line
Run an ad on the side of the home, editor's page, perspectives and ideas and opinions for $300 per issue. Please submit a web-ready image (GIF or JPEG) no larger than 120 pixels wide by 600 pixels tall (or send a word doc, we'll make a screen capture and resize your image to the space requirements).
Contract Details
- Payments are made in advance.
- Cancellations must be made by the deadline of the issue in which the ad ceases to be published.
- The Journal reserves the right to change advertising rates at any time.
- Mistakes happen. The maximum liability of the journal in event of an error is limited to the cost of that ad for that issue.
- The Journal reserves the right to refuse any advertisement that is not in accordance with our professional standards.
